The Closest Pumpkin Patch To Nashville

Shuckle’s is a pick-your-own pumpkin patch on a real working farm, about 30 minutes north of downtown Nashville straight up I-65.

We’re in Greenbrier, in Robertson County, which puts us roughly 20 minutes from Hendersonville, Goodlettsville and White House, 15 from Springfield, and inside an hour of Clarksville and Gallatin. For most of Middle Tennessee we’re the shortest drive to a full-size pumpkin patch and corn maze.

The patch is the reason a lot of families come, but it isn’t the whole day. Your ticket also covers the 8-acre corn maze, hayrides, the Animal Corral, DinoLand, four magic shows and more than 30 other attractions.

Pumpkins are sold separately and aren’t included with admission, so bring a card or some cash for the ones you take home.

How Pumpkin Picking Works

The patch is called Pumpkin Town, it’s pick your own, and here’s what to expect before you walk out there.

    Walk out to Pumpkin Town

    The patch sits on the farm alongside the corn maze and the play areas. Entry to Pumpkin Town is included with your admission ticket.

  2. 2

    Pick your own

    Walk the rows and choose whichever you like, from ones a small child can carry to the big porch pumpkins that need two hands.

  3. 3

    Pay at the patch

    Pumpkins are paid for separately from admission. Cash and cards are both taken at the pumpkin patch as well as at the gate.

    Get it to the car

    Bring a wagon if you’re planning on a big one or several. It’s a working farm, so it’s a walk back across grass and dirt.

Pumpkins are sold separately and aren’t covered by your admission ticket, so bring a card or some cash for whatever you take home. Prices are marked at the patch and vary with size.

Come earlier in the season if you want the fullest patch and the widest choice. By the last weekend of October the best ones have usually gone home with somebody else.

The Best Time To Go Pumpkin Picking

Our season is short. Ten operating days, weekends only, from the last Saturday of September to Halloween. That means picking your day matters more here than at a farm that’s open seven days a week.

  • Early season, late SeptemberThe fullest patch and the smallest crowds. Best pick if you want choice.
  • Mid OctoberPeak color and peak crowds. Come Sunday rather than Saturday if you can.
  • After 5pm, any dayEvery ticket is $2 off, the light is gorgeous and the photo spots come into their own.
  • Halloween, October 31Our closing day, and it lands on a Saturday in 2026.

Take I-65 north to exit 108 and follow the signs to 7526 Swift Rd in Greenbrier, Robertson County. That’s about 30 minutes from downtown Nashville. Parking is on the farm itself, so there’s no shuttle to catch once you arrive.

Yes. The patch is pick your own, and there are pumpkins in every size from little sugar pumpkins a toddler can carry to giants that need two people and a wagon. Gourds and specialty pumpkins sit in the barn alongside the patch.

General admission is $18.22 plus tax and ages 2 and under are free, with $2 off every ticket after 5pm. Pumpkins and food are priced separately, so bring a card or some cash for whatever you take home.

Saturdays 10am to 8pm and Sundays noon to 8pm, from September 26 through October 31, 2026. The farm is closed to the public Monday through Friday, when weekdays are reserved for school field trips and booked groups.

Shuckle’s is about 20 minutes from Hendersonville, out along Long Hollow Pike or Highway 31W through White House. It’s the nearest full-size pumpkin patch with a corn maze attached, and it’s a straightforward drive across Sumner County.

Very. Ages 2 and under get into the farm free, the patch is flat and easy to walk, and the Wee Fiddle Dee Playground and Digger’s Island Sandbox are right nearby. Plenty of families do the patch first and the maze later.
